The training starts w ith the introduction of
abacus , the numbers and place values on the

abacus , proper use of fingers while moving the

beads to show numbers or to make calculations

on the abacus.

Menar teachers will be happy to teach this
basic knowledge to the parents as well, so that they

will be familiar with the Menar work their children

are doing at home. This way, parents will even be

able to help their children when they get stuck

while solving a problem.
