The second 8-month - period covers stages 5-8.
During these stages , students strengthen their
mental addition /subtraction skills with multi -digit

numbers while developing mental multiplication and
divis ion skills at the

same time.
During the last two stages, which last 4 months,
students get more practice to increase their mental
calculation speed and accuracy in all types of
operations.

Studying How, How often and How long:

Your child's classes will usually be scheduled as
3 consecutive classes on one day of the week .
Your child must be encouraged to study regularly
at home during the other days of the week.
